Linda Baker (MSPA CPSP) is an ADHDer who has over 22 years experience as a paediatric speech pathologist in public & private sectors.

Linda Baker is a highly experienced and dedicated clinical supervisor with a passion for supporting paediatric speech patholologists to elevate their practice and empower them to grow and develop on their career journey. Linda’s compassionate approach fosters a safe and nuturing environment for growth and development.
Linda brings an exceptional wealth of knowledge and experience as a clinical supervisor, as well as lived experience of being neurodivergent and as a Mum, raising three multiply neurodivergent children. Linda has a strong ability to bridge the gap between theoretical knowledge and its practical application, with real-world clinical experience.
Every speech pathologist is unique, with distinct strengths, areas for growth and professional goals. Linda works closely with all her supervisees to identify their individual needs and aspirations, providing personalised supervision to maximise their clinical impact.

Linda’s supervision is specifically tailored to paediatric speech pathologists who are seeking to upskill in communication challenges related to:
- Neurodiversity: Providing neurodiversity-affirming practice, including assessment, appropriate use of terminology, report writing considerations, choosing appropriate strategies and supports, consideration of family functioning and family strengths, ensuring inclusive and supportive environments for neurodivergent individuals.
- Attention Deficit Hyperactivity Disorder (ADHD) and Autism: Providing holistic and neuro-diversity affirming supports and strategies to support ADHD, Autistic and AuDHD individuals in clinical, academic, social and home settings.
- Executive Functioning: Implementing evidence-based techniques to support executive functioning skills and provide necessary support for individuals facing challenges in this area.
- Early Communication: Providing assessment, diagnosis, intervention, communication skill development for infants and toddlers. Hanen certified in It Takes Two to Talk (ITTT) and Target Word (TW).
- Pre-school Language and Emerging/Pre-Literacy: Providing assessment, diagnosis and supporting language development in the pre-school years. Fostering emergent literacy skills in preschool-aged children to facilitate successful transition into formal literacy instruction.
- School Aged and Adolescent Language and Literacy: Providing assessment, diagnosis and supports for children and adolescents with language and literacy challenges, Developmental Language Disorder (DLD), Specific Learning Disorders (Reading and Written Expression).
- Speech Sound Disorders, including Childhood Apraxia of Speech (CAS): Providing appropriate assessment, diagnosis and support/intervention for speech clarity, phonological and articulatory skills for children with speech sound disorders, including CAS (both from the speech pathologist and parent perspective).
- Fluency/Stuttering: Providing assessment and treatment for fluency challenges, including cluttering and stuttering, to enhance communication fluency and confidence in children individuals of all ages.

- High-quality, individualised and evidence based support.
- A clinical supervision agreement that can be used as evidence for your Continuing Professional Development (CPD) for Speech Pathology Australia (if requested).
- A discount for all eligible workshops and trainings run by ADHD Done Differently*.
